Members—come solo or share your love of clay with a friend (or a few!) in this relaxed, creative Mud Mixer class designed for connection, play, and making something truly delightful.

Create a cozy woodland-inspired vase that glows with warmth long after it leaves the studio.

In this special Member/Guest Workshop, you'll handbuild a unique vase featuring rich bark textures, layered botanical details, a charming woodland creature nestled into its own little nook, and tiny openings that allow the included fairy lights to softly shine through after firing. Whether your piece tells the story of an owl, fox, rabbit, songbird, or another woodland friend, every vase will be uniquely yours.

This workshop is designed to be welcoming for beginners while still offering plenty of creative freedom for experienced members. Bring a friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker and enjoy a relaxing morning or afternoon creating together.

Workshop Details

• 9:00 AM – Noon
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Your Workshop Includes

• Clay
• Use of studio tools and texture rollers
• Fairy lights for your finished vase
• Step-by-step instruction

What You'll Learn

• Building a simple slab vessel
• Creating bark and woodland textures
• Adding sculptural details
• Constructing a recessed woodland niche
• Designing with light in mind
• Creating a balanced, finished composition

No pottery experience is necessary for your guests. We'll guide them through each step and provide plenty of inspiration along the way.

Your finished piece will remain at the studio for drying, firing, and glazing before pickup. Fairy lights are included so your Woodland Glow Vase will be ready to illuminate your home once it's finished.

Please Note: This is a Member/Guest event. Each registration is for one person. Members may register themselves and purchase an additional seat for their guest. We recommend registering early, as space is limited.

Class Info

• ALL CLAY IS INCLUDED - for you and your guest(s).

• A set of Fairy Lights is included for you and your guest(s)

• Class Price is per person. As a perk to our members,  the class fee is reduced from our regular class price.

• Instruction will lead students to each hand-build their own pieces. All levels welcome.

• Adults Only (18 years and up) Only registered students are permitted in the studio.

• One Class... Hand-build pieces. These pieces will be constructed with toasty clay. 

• Included: all clay and slip, use of tools and equipment, kiln firings, guided instruction.

• We start classes promptly on time. Class Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please email with any questions.
