Handwoven in Ghana from durable vetiver grass, these fair trade U-Shopper baskets blend everyday function with beautiful traditional craftsmanship. Each basket is hand-dyed and woven by skilled artisans using techniques passed down through generations, and finished with sturdy leather handles for comfortable carrying.

(Bolga baskets are basically the only leather items I own… aside from my Birkenstocks. Apparently beautifully made practical things are my weakness.)

Please note: Because each basket is individually hand-dyed, natural color variations are part of their charm. Some areas may appear lighter, darker, or even have small sporadic sections with little to no color, making every piece beautifully unique.
