This pottery rib is truly a unique and multi-purpose tool. Simply use the curved profile to achieve a beautiful bowl form with a large foot or flip it upside down for a footless profile! The opposite side offers a more gentle, inverted curve for adding flare to your piece. The bottom offers a nice texture / scraper and the tip is great for detail work, splitting rims on pots, and cleaning up the base of your pot!

Two styles... The one with teeth and one flat. 
-The flat one is better for using the profile side on the wheel as it doesn't wear down the teeth on the bat when spining.
-The one with teeth is great for "pushing the clay" techniques and making ribs in thrown pots. The profile still is excellent on the wheel, it just depends on keeping it just off the bat so the teeth don't get worn down by the bat.
