Ramen bowls perfectly display the creative choices of the potter making them. From unique form, surface designs, and impressive patterns, almost no ramen bowl is the same. The desire to preserve this presented an interesting challenge while designing this tool; give it a recognizable form without limiting the expression that makes each bowl unique.

On one side you'll find a deep curve that flares into a rim. The other a tall, angled side that makes the perfect blank canvas for glaze effects, carving, or any other designs. Both sides feature a tall, 0.4" straight foot intended to leave enough clay at the bottom for a deep foot ring.

Features a central hole to help grip the tool with wet hands.

Caring for metal tools is extremely easy, simply wash and dry after use.

It is recommended to start with 2 lb of clay then adjusting to your preferences. For the best experience, use with an MDF bat.

Made from corrosion resistant stainless steel.

This rib is not flexible and non-magnetic. That being said, avoid using excessive force to intentionally bend the tool.
