Pottery Class -Autumn Impressions Leaf Swoop Dish - 1 Part Class with Colored Clay

A One-Part Colorworks Clay Experience...
Autumn Impressions Leaf Swoop Serving Dish

Saturday, September 26 2026 | 9:00AM - 12 Noon
$125 | Open to All

Welcome the changing season with color, clay, and a little creative play. In Autumn Impressions, you'll create a beautiful organic swoop leaf serving dish using Colorworks colored clay, learning how to combine color and form so the design becomes part of the clay itself.

Choose your colors and make it completely your own!

In Autumn Impressions, you’ll create a beautifully curved Swoop Leaf Serving Dish using Colorworks colored clay, with the color becoming part of the piece from the very beginning.

The fun starts with choosing your palette! You’ll select any four colors from our Colorworks collection and learn how to combine and marble them with our white stoneware base clay. We’ll explore how layering, placement, and movement affect the finished pattern before shaping your colorful slab into an organic leaf form with its signature swooping curve.

Because every student chooses their own four colors and every marble develops differently, no two Swoop Leaf Serving Dishes will ever be alike.

This is a one-part class, so you'll complete all of your creating during your three-hour session. After class, leave the rest to us! Your piece will be bisque fired, then our studio assistant will apply clear glaze to the top surface to highlight the beautiful Colorworks pattern before it goes through its final firing.

Your finished Swoop Leaf is a substantial, functional serving piece that is just as beautiful displayed on its own.
