Autumn Impressions Leaf Swoop Serving Dish

Welcome the changing season with color, clay, and a little creative play. In Autumn Impressions, you'll create a beautiful organic swoop leaf serving dish using Colorworks colored clay, learning how to combine color and form so the design becomes part of the clay itself.

You'll work with a curated palette of Colorworks clay and our white stoneware base clay to create layers, movement, and marbled effects before shaping your clay into a one-of-a-kind leaf. Veining and organic details will bring the form to life while allowing your individual color pattern to remain the star.

This is a one-part class, so everything is completed during your three-hour evening in the studio. After class, we'll take it from there! Your piece will be bisque fired, then our studio assistant will apply clear glaze to the top surface before it goes through its final firing.

Your finished leaf will be completely unique and beautiful as a serving piece, catch-all, seasonal accent, or simply a little piece of functional art.

• Instruction will lead students to each hand-build their own pieces. All levels welcome.

• Adults Only (18 years and up) Only registered students are permitted in the studio.

• One Class... Hand-build pieces with wet clay

• Included: all clay, use of tools and equipment, 2 kiln firings, guided instruction.

• We start classes promptly on time. Class Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. No make-ups for missed classes. Please email with any questions.
