Easy Going Clay

At Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio, we are all about learning so our classes are based on building pieces through techniques. But, we also know how relaxing and stress releasing working with clay can be. 

Easy Going Clay class is designed as individual classes where being chill with clay is the goal. Through easy to follow guided instructions, you'll hand-build a piece that not only is fun to do, but brings a sense of zen through the process and when enjoying it after it's fired. 

Come to one or come get cozy with clay each Sunday it's offered. Easy Going Clay is scheduled on several Sundays through the year so you can plan your schedule accordingly because, hey, getting some quality creating time is a serene way to set the tone for an enjoyable week.

Class Info

  • Instruction will lead students to each hand-build their own pieces. All levels welcome.

  • Adults Only (18 years and up) Only registered students are permitted in the studio.

  • One Class... Hand-build pieces using stoneware clay. Leave them to dry then to fire twice and pick up in a few weeks.

  • Pieces are unglazed. Unglazed pieces fire to beautiful stoneware. Different clays - speckled or smooth, toasted, dark, or buff colored,  are used for different projects.

  • Included: all clay and glazes (if applicable) , use of tools and equipment, kiln firings, guided instruction.

  • We start classes promptly on time. Class Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please email with any questions.
