4 Week Course - Adult

Handbuilding & Wheel Throwing 

Instruction focuses on introduction to
handbuilding techniques of pinching, slabbing, coiling,
and a taste of wheel throwing - plus glazing!

This is the most direct way to scoring an invite to our Marvelous Mud Membership where you get weekly instruction via a progressive and continual curriculum. Learn, Create, Learn More!

Dig Deep is team taught by our staff so you get a chance to
create with at least a couple of our instructors during the course.

Thursdays Jan 8-29; 6-9 PM (Sold Out!)

Sundays February 1-22; 2026; 1-4PM 

Tuesdays Feb 3-24; 6-9PM ~ Handbuilding Only

Sundays March 29 - April 26 2026 (off April 5th for Easter); 1-4PM

~ • Class Info • ~

• Instruction focuses on introduction to handbuilding techniques of pinching, slabbing, coiling and in Rachelle's class, a taste of wheel throwing. Plus glazing!

• Projects vary so students can repeat course as much as they would like.

• Students are encouraged to follow their own intuitive design making.

• Included: all clay and glazes, use of tools and equipment, kiln firings, guided instruction

• Classes start promptly on time.

  
  
  

• Class Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no make-ups for missed classes!

• Must be 18 Years or Older. No Walk-Ins. Only registered students are permitted in the studio.

~ • Moving Up A Level • ~

At the end of the 4 Week Course, there are three options...

1. If there is an available spot, you may be invited to move up to Rachelle's Monthly Studio Membership that offers 4 Weekly 3 Hour Instructional Classes and 1 Monthly 3 Hour Open Studio. 2. You may be invited to take another 4 Week Course if if no spots are available in other classes or if you desire to not commit to the membership.
   
   
3. Or... because class dynamics are of utmost importance to ensuring everyone has a good experience both with clay and with the small group, we may decide that it is not a good fit for moving on together.

Moving in to a Monthly Studio Membership spot depends on availability as well as class dynamics. Wheel throwing is only available in the Monthly Studio Membership.
