Resident Artist Space Monthly Subscription

Resident Artist (RA) Space includes one full fixture for personal use, one desk, one chair. This is a rental - fixture, desk, and chair remain property of Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio and this reserve signifies that you understand and agree to this.

Each RA will get unlimited access to the studio as long as there is a staff member in the building. These times are usually Monday - Friday 9AM-9PM, Saturday and Sunday 9AM-4PM. This is subject to change.

The Resident Artist Space is semi-private and is separated from next door classroom.

Set Up fee - $400 each. (This is a paid through a different link.) This is an up front fee that you have to pay. (If an RA leaves membership and returns in the future, there will be another $400 fee to set up again when a space opens.)

The Monthly fee - $300 auto drafted. This subscription starts the first month of your resident artist membership and will be drafted along with your monthly MMPS membership. (Normal This is subject to change in the future... with 30 days notice.

***Resident Artist fee is in addition to monthly  membership fee. You must continue to be in MMPS membership to be able to be a Resident Artist. 

No Sharing! Resident Artist Space and perks is for the RA only. Only RAs are permitted to use the RA space. 

Resident artists are responsible for keeping their art and possessions neat within the confines of their fixture and their desk. The floor area must be kept clear and clean. Their clay loaves must be kept on the bottom shelf of their fixture. Personal items are left at the owner's risk. 

Marvelous Mud Pottery Studio and its staff are not responsible for loss or breakage of anything left in the studio.

Cancellation policy... You must notify Rachelle via email by the 30 days prior to cancelling your Resident Artist space or else you will be charged the following month. The Resident Artist space is a separate subscription than membership so one may continue membership even if they decide to give up their Resident Artist space. 

FYI
The policy for not allowing production of pieces for sale in the studio stays in place. We cannot handle the logistics of the firing for something like that. However, we are expanding the firing policy for members wishing to submit in "Calls for Art" from galleries and other organizations. Members may participate in those events and we can be accommodating as long as it is just a few and there is no quick turn-around expected for firing.
